Getting help
In the app, open the menu (☰) and choose Give Feedback: it goes straight to us. Or email gamedayboard@gmail.com and say which phone or browser you use, and what you were trying to do. We read everything, and reply as soon as we can.
I'm a parent. How do I follow my child's team?
Your coach shares a link or a short code (like K7M-4QX). Open the link, or choose + Join with a code in the team menu, sign in with Google or Apple, and tick your child on the list. You can pick more than one for brothers and sisters, and change it later.
Not on the list? Ask the coach to add your child. You see published lineups, results and your own child's place, never a coach's ratings or playing-time figures.
How do I tell the coach my child can't make a game?
Open the game in the team's view and tap Can't make it for your child, with a short note if you like. The coaches see it at once. Notes are for the coaches only.
How do I leave a team as a parent?
At the bottom of the team's view, tap Leave this team. You stop seeing its games, and the replies you gave stay as a record of who was going, without your name or note.
How do I delete my account?
Open the menu (☰) and choose Delete account. It removes your sign-in and profile, your notification settings, your memberships and claims on children, any AI apps you connected, and it makes your attendance replies anonymous. If you signed in with Apple, it also ends the link with Apple.
A head coach whose team still has other coaches must remove them, or hand the team on, first; the screen says so. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
If you cannot open the app (you have uninstalled it, or cannot sign in), email gamedayboard@gmail.com from the address you signed in with and we will delete it for you.
How do I use Game Day Board with Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini?
Coaches can connect an AI app from this help page, which has the address to paste, example requests, what the app can and cannot do, and how to disconnect it. To disconnect at any time: menu (☰), then Connected Apps.
I signed in with Apple and chose Hide My Email.
Apple gives us a private address instead of your own, and Game Day Board treats it like any other email address. It works for everything, including joining a team from an invite link or a parent code, and we never send email to it. It stays your address here for good: choosing Share My Email later does not change it.
The coaches on a team will see that private address rather than your own. If you would rather they saw your real one, delete your account (menu ☰, then Delete account; if you own a team, it goes too) and sign in with Apple again, choosing Share My Email.
A page is zoomed in on my iPhone.
Pinch it back out. Make sure you have the latest version of the app too (App Store, then Updates).
Where do I find the terms and privacy information?
