We collect the following information when you sign in to Game Day Board using Google Sign-In:
- Your email address
- Your display name
- Your Google profile photo URL (if provided by Google)
We do not collect passwords. Authentication is handled entirely and securely by Google.
2. How We Use Your Information
The information we collect is used solely for the following purposes:
- To authenticate your account and keep your session secure.
- To associate your data — including your teams, rosters, seasons, and game lineups — with your account so you can access it across sessions and devices.
- To allow you to share team access with assistant coaches by email address.
We do not use your information for marketing, advertising, or profiling purposes of any kind.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your personal information with any third parties. Your data is never disclosed to outside parties except as required by law or to protect our legal rights.
4. Data Storage & Security
All data collected by Game Day Board is securely stored using Google Firebase, part of Google Cloud infrastructure. Firebase enforces industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest.
Access to your data within Firebase is governed by security rules that restrict reads and writes to authenticated, authorised users only.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct any inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.

6. Children's Privacy
Game Day Board is intended for use by coaches and team administrators. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
